R.G. loves helping people hear our faith story in ways that bring life, healing, justice and peace to the world and our lives. He is originally from Alabama and served several churches in Birmingham that emphasized ministry alongside those living in poverty and creating affirming, safe spaces for those traditionally marginalized or harmed by faith communities. R.G. is a graduate of Duke Divinity School. He is married to Mary Page Wilson-Lyons, who is a PhD student in practical theology at Boston University, and is dad to Nina and Julian. R.G. loves playing with his children, hiking, biking, basketball, all things nature and cooking.
